Hi y’all! I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker with a passion for providing trauma-informed care to individuals, groups, and families. Whether you’re queer, kinky, non-monogamous, or anywhere in between, I’m here to offer a safe and affirming space where you can be your true self.
I graduated from Carson-Newman University with my Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Social Entrepreneurship before I took a big swerve and completed my Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee. I am currently under supervision by Tzipporah Gerson-Miller, CSW005776.
My practice is all about breaking down oppressive norms and embracing body liberation. I’m committed to centering the voices of those who’ve been sidelined by societal expectations, and I make it a priority to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and celebrated. Fat liberation? Absolutely. We’ll tackle systemic weight biases and body shaming head-on, working to turn your body into a place of comfort and pride, not conflict.
Our work together will dive deep into the mind-body connection, unraveling the ways external systems have shaped your self-view and addressing the traumas that may have left you feeling disconnected or unsafe in your own skin. I’m not just here to listen; I’m your ally, your advocate, and your biggest cheerleader on this path towards healing, whatever that looks like to you.
Sound good? If so, I would love to hear from you to see if we are a good fit. You can reach out to me via email at macy@uniquelywelltherapy.com or 678-210-9907.
