LGBTQIA+ Asylum Seekers’ Support Group
Meets by Zoom on Thursday mornings and Tuesday afternoons on alternating weeks
This is a structured group that includes discussion, joy-focused activities, and relevant speakers such as an immigration lawyer or a medical provider. The group is very actively facilitated and maintains a norm of no details of violence.
This is a free group open to all who identify as LGBTQIA+ and are seeking asylum in the US. Currently, the group runs in English; however, please feel free to refer individuals who speak other languages.
